I don't think this is what Jesus has asked us to do. He said love even those who hate you.

I can only speak for our trials with Astra-Zeneca, and so far we haven't had one single death from the vaccine in our trials. Now if you take a segment of 25,000 people and give them COVID, then you will have far more deaths, severe cases, and chronic disabilities for life in there.

I'll give you an example. People talk about Bell's Palsy and inflammatory neurological responses to the vaccine. We halted the trial at one point to investigate such a case.

Overall we had about 4 cases of Bell's Palsy. I don't know if the media has gone into detail but you will be surprised to find that most of them were in the placebo group - meaning the group that did NOT receive the vaccine. Because in a big segment of the population chronic illness invariably occurs, whether vaccinated or not.

The problem with vaccinating 5, 10, 15, 20 million people, is that several in that million will develop cancer. Several will die. One will get hit by a bus. One will have a heart attack on the exact same day as the injection but be completely unrelated. One will happen to have a stroke just as the needle pricks their skin. It's statistics but unfortunately it's excellent MSM fodder to get clicks, views and $$$$.

We are investigating every single flagged instance reported to us - even where it's completely unrelated like someone stubbing their toe playing in the house and getting an infection. It's investigated thoroughly - could having had the vaccine contributed to the toe becoming infected, increasing the chances and so on. Could the vaccine have made them clumsier and more groggy, etc. etc. etc. That's how much detail and attention is being put into this, even norovirus instances (completely unrelated) are being investigated if they happened in someone taking a vaccine.

Do some people have allergic reactions? Yes, but that's expected. We don't have PEG in ours so it's fewer allergic reactions than Pfeizer/Moderna as far as I'm aware.

No problem. I see it a lot here, people think COVID is like most illnesses where being fit, healthy, strong, etc. will save you. In actuality, having a strong immune response is the exact opposite of what you want with COVID, because THAT'S when people die. I don't think a lot of people know that it's the immune system reaction this particular virus triggers that kills you, or produces strokes which leaves you disabled for life, and not the virus itself.

The main reason why the elderly die and younger people survive is that the function of the organs is higher in the young - so they can withstand the hit from COVID and have some left over to make it through. Many elderly people don't. But people don't understand that the damage is across ALL ages - and we have young, fit, athletic skiers with mild or asymptomatic COVID display heart damage in scans akin to a heart attack or progressive heart failure.

People think COVID is just a cold, one and done. They are unaware of the damage it leaves behind even inside of them even with a mild or asymptomatic case. THIS is why the vaccine is needed. So that the immune system reaction can be CONTROLLED through medication instead of severe and unchecked.

This is a virus that enters via the fucking endothelium. You DON'T want endothelium damage even if you only get the sniffles because that's your organ linings.

COVID is dangerous because it produces an immune system reaction that is too strong - it's your own immune system attacks your own body and kills you. Not the virus. We have people with strong immune systems who do their best to be healthy (exercise, diet, etc.) die, while obese people with mild immune systems, or cancer patients, have a mild reaction and survive.

If you think being healthy and having a strong immune system will save you, or anyone you love, you're wrong. Survival isn't about having a strong immune system - it's about the functional starting point of your organs, which has to do with age and chronic conditions. In ALL people, young or old, COVID decreases organ function and leaves damage when the inflammatory response happens. The older you are, the more your organs have been used, the more likely you are to have a fatal case. If you're young, yes the heart damage it leaves you with will take 15-20 years off your life, but odds are you will make it. But you're left with progressive heart damage, endothelium damage, etc. so good luck to you then.

Go ahead and take the damage/lifeshortening for yourself, your children and loved ones instead of the vaccine if you think that's a preferable outcome.

Freedom of choice? When I immigrated to the US, I had to take eleven vaccines to qualify for my green card and subsequent citizenship. There was no opting out. It's the price to pay to live in a clean, hygienic, civilized society.

No you're not, and here's why. The "study" - I shudder even calling that piece of garbage a study - which claimed 0.2, used the entire death total of Israel and assigned it to vaccine deaths. So every single person in the country who died in that span of time was claimed to be a vaccine fatality. If you want to believe such bullshit, you're no better than liberals who listen to CNN bs and think it fact.

Also joining those defending u/BasedMedicalDoctor.

Many don't know this but here there are a lot of pro-Trump people among those working on Astra-Zeneca vaccine and trials. I see it first hand. It's just regular people with families who want to beat this asshole virus and the blood clotting and organ damage it incurs. It's easy to focus on numbers, it's much harder when you see someone's father, with many years of life still in them, struggling to breathe on oxygen while they tell their kids bedtime stories through facetime. All because the immune system reaction the virus produces is too strong, and it attacks your own body.

Vaccines are good. Medicines are good. New treatments are always feared at first, but as a society we learn and adjust and progress. Every medicine has side effects in a small segment of people, but the good they do far outweigh the bad.

All we're trying to do with the vaccine is help the body adjust to a smaller, inactivated version of the virus, so it can produce antibodies without destroying you in the process. Then, if you do catch COVID, your body can fight it without overreacting and turning on itself.

Same, I'll buy from any patriotic business, black, white, latino, doesn't matter to me. If you only see white people as 'our kind' then that's on you, to me our kind is everyone who loves the country and wants to build/nurture something good for the future.

There is no medicine nor vaccine nor treatment nor ingredient on this entire planet with zero major side effects.

Yes, I'm ok with it. I had to get 11 vaccinations before I could have my green card and US citizenship. It's part of USCIS and there is no opting out. If I have to look out for the health and welfare of others to access rights and freedoms, then so do you. It's called living in a civilized, modern society.

It's not the lack of an immune system that causes the most COVID deaths; it's the overactive immune response, which can happen - and does happen - in anyone. That, along with the state of hypercoagulation. The reason why it's killing more elderly than young people is because the immune system reaction COVID triggers causes organ damage via the endothelium in all because that's how it enters the body - but in the elderly, organs aren't as good as those newly born/younger folk and the damage COVID causes is enough to push them over the edge. It's not because their immune systems are weaker. In younger people, it shortens the lifespan of the organs to a degree, and decreases general organ function but they still have enough to rely on in most cases. The damage is akin to having a heart attack in one's 20s (and shows in scans the same as progressive heart damage does), so it's best to avoid COVID even if young and fit.

It's not how strong your immune system is, and all about how healthy your body is so that the damage COVID causes to organs doesn't keel you over. Which is partly why the younger you are, the less likely to die. That's not to say it doesn't give you less overall function and right now we don't know if that's permanent or not. There are some parts of the body, like heart muscle, that doesn't heal. And yes this heart damage was found even in people with mild COVID or asymptomatic COVID.

The Chinese were not fucking around when they made this virus, and it baffles me that people don't realize how insidious it really is. Everyone is arguing/focusing on deaths and not really caring that it's destroying young people too, except long it long-term so that people ignore it.

The guy who claims this used ALL DEATHS in Israel - not vaccine deaths, not covid deaths, ALL deaths - which he then compared with COVID deaths (which of course are less than the total fucking number of deaths in a country), and then blamed vaccines on this figure.

It's no use. People here want conspiracy theory not truth.

Come on guys. People claim the virus is too small to be blocked by the mask, but at the same time claim O2/CO2 particles are somehow blocked by the mask. Buy a good pulse oxymeter and measure your levels both with and without a mask, I guarantee you they don't change. I am pro-trump, always have been always will be. But the caveman science here is like we're still in the 1400s and don't understand how anything works. Gosh.

Thank you for being a voice of reason here. I know it's difficult, when it comes to medicine and science, the forum isn't very understanding.

LadyPersephone -2 points ago +5 / -7

No, you are. COVID doesn't just blow out by itself. COVID attaches itself to droplets (aerosol) that are blocked by N95 masks, which are about 95% effective. If you're actually arguing against the science of N95 masks which have been used against viral aerosol for ages, you're a massive idiot.

My uncle had the vaccine, no side effects. He was the only person in an office of 6 not to get COVID. How safe the vaccine is long term or how different it is from the flu shots, I don't know, but it does work.

The Baron Trump novels are two children's novels written in 1889 and 1893 by the American author and lawyer Ingersoll Lockwood. They remained obscure until 2017, when they received media attention for perceived similarities between their protagonist and U.S. President Donald Trump.

In July 2017, the books were rediscovered by Internet forum users, and then by the media, who pointed out similarities between the protagonist and U.S. President Donald Trump. Jaime Fuller wrote in Politico that Baron Trump is "precocious, restless, and prone to get in trouble." He often mentions his massive brain, and has a personalized insult for most people he meets. Fuller also notes that Baron Trump lives in a building named after himself, "Castle Trump"; while the real-life Donald Trump had lived in Trump Tower for decades.

Furthermore, Donald Trump's youngest son is named Barron Trump. Chris Riotta noted in Newsweek that Baron Trump's adventures begin in Russia. Riotta also mentioned another book of Ingersoll's, 1900; or, The Last President, in which New York City is riven by protests following the shocking victory in the 1896 presidential election, who brings on the downfall of the American republic.

As of July 2017, filmmaker and Trump supporter Leigh Scott was reported to be planning a crowdsourcing campaign to produce a feature film adaptation of the Baron Trump novels.
