Pope Francis is a fallible man. I trust my Savior when He founded the Church with the promise that “the gates of Hell will not prevail against it.” A pope is only infallible only when invoking the authority of his office in matters of faith or morals.
Has the Church does horrible and corrupt things? YES!
Has the gates of Hell prevailed against the Church? NO, and according to our Savior, it never will!
