Believe it or not, "they" aren't some poorly-understood alien race that has to be handled with diplomacy and kid gloves; they're regular Americans, just like us, with the only real difference being how they are treated by society.

Note that when I call these people "80 IQ", I am not trying to insult either them or anyone else who is mentally handicapped -- it's that statistically, about 10% of the population (if I recall my stats math correctly) is going to have an IQ in that range, and such people will inevitably be much easier to manipulate than someone with the average IQ of 100. It doesn't even have to be as low as 80; 17% (iirc) of the population is going to fall below 85, a level that was once considered "retarded", until that bar was pushed down to 70 for political reasons.

The only scenario in which this is actually good advice is one in which there is a massive, high-level, behind-the-scenes battle going on in the government between MAGA and those who want to hand our country over to China on a silver platter. Furthermore, this power struggle would have to be of a very particular nature in order for a show of force by our side to be DISADVANTAGEOUS -- and given that they've been directing/paying Antifa/BLM to riot, it doesn't seem likely that this is the case.
It is fairly clear that there is no real internal power struggle going on; the establishment controls most of the government, while we (and Trump himself) ARE the opposition. That's not to say that Trump has NO support within the government itself, but it's very obvious that any such support is beleaguered and unable to influence the actions of the relevant government institutions. Look back over the past few months...is it not clear who controls the FBI, the courts, etc? If control of these institutions was contested, would ALL of those lawsuits from Trump have been ignored? Would they be able to completely ignore such blatantly damning evidence of election fraud? Is there ANY reason to believe that these institutions are not firmly under our enemy's control?
While there is little reason to believe that this is actually sound advice given in good faith, there is very good reason to believe that it is misinformation -- our enemies control our government (through bribes, corruption, blackmail, etc), they control our votes (through Dominion voting machines), and they control our voices (through media censorship). The only things that they do not yet control are the White House and our guns -- but it won't be long until they take control of those, too.
Our enemies don't need to provoke us to riots; they control the media and can stage riots and put the blame on us. Our enemies don't need one of us to step forward and start a revolution, as this post claims; they could easily have one of their agents do that themselves. Our enemies don't need us to paint ourselves as terrorists; they control the media outright and can push whatever narrative they want, regardless of the availability of evidence.
The ONLY thing our enemies need is time -- right now, we still have our guns and we still have Trump in the White House. Once Biden takes the White House, we are no longer any sort of threat -- his handlers can employ whatever degree of military force they want, while their MSM / social media puppets blast 24/7 propaganda about how we were engaged in "armed insurrection" and "terrorism" and had to be "stopped". Accordingly, the only thing they fear is that we might employ physical force before they have an absolute counter to it -- they can already counter our votes, they can already counter our voices, they can already counter our lawsuits, and soon, they will be able to counter our one remaining option.
This isn't a fight over public opinion. This isn't a fight over the White House. This is a fight over SUFFRAGE; our ability to vote -- the enemy has taken that away from us, via Dominion, and if we don't take it back now, we may never have another chance. How do you fight against a dictator who controls the media, who controls the votes, who controls the military, and who is the only one with guns?

It sounds like you know more about gun laws than I do, so your input is appreciated. Still, I'm pretty sure that transporting a disassembled weapon is safer than an assembled one, both due to it being easier to conceal and presumably lesser consequences for getting caught with it.
It would be much more difficult to sway a jury against someone who was carrying a disassembled firearm than one who was carrying a fully assembled one, and I'm sure the authorities know that. While most criminal cases are resolved through plea bargaining, rather than actually going before a jury, the outcomes of those plea bargains are largely determined by how the involved parties think a jury would rule on the case -- and it would be far easier to convince a jury to convict someone for bringing a fully functional weapon into D.C. than for carrying the parts to a weapon that they may or may not have had any intention of assembling.
Sure, they might still ARREST you for carrying that disassembled weapon, but I find it hard to imagine that they would be able to spare the resources necessary to prosecute thousands of such cases (not to mention the difficulty of detaining / moving such individuals). So, either you get your disassembled weapon in with you, or the cops have to waste massive amounts of time searching hundreds of thousands (or even millions!) of people for relatively-easily-concealed PARTS of weapons, just so that they can temporarily detain those people and release them later without charges (and without their weapons, I'd guess, which DOES suck).
Feel free to take my opinion with a grain of salt, though; I'm just a law student, not an actual lawyer. If you're planning to wager your freedom by bringing a "modern" firearm into D.C., you may want to consult a lawyer first (or a kindly lawyer pede could help us out here!).
Alright, I apologize if I'm pushing into Doomer territory here, but the whole "antique guns only" thing sounds like it may be a trap -- such weapons could very well give them an excuse for the use of lethal force, without giving us any real chance of victory in such a confrontation.
If it's not too late, I would STRONGLY suggest that as many of you as possible get MODERN firearms there; I'm sure there's a legal way to do it (maybe transporting them disassembled?). Note that you should NOT violate any laws, especially not openly, unless you are surrounded by many other pedes doing the same -- don't give them an excuse to make an example out of you. Also, remember that we aren't a lawless mob; we're there to UPHOLD the law: the Supreme Law of the Land, which many in our government seem to have forgotten.
As has been pointed out before, if they don't fear us, they can simply ignore us; just be careful to make them fear your POTENTIAL for violence, rather than feeling that you represent an INEVITABLE threat. A potential threat should be handled carefully and perhaps reasoned with, while an inevitable threat is an excuse for preemptive violence.

None of that is meant to convince reasonably intelligent people of anything; they're simply working their target audience - the intellectual dregs of society.
