Obesity causes irregular periods and infertility. Obese women miss their periods for months or even years. She has probably missed so many periods from her physical condition that she didn't notice anything was amiss.
I am a woman as well and while I do not agree with attacking people based on their appearance, fatness is a totally separate issue. It is the number one signal of laziness. Even though there is widespread denial of calories being the main contribution to weight gain or loss, literally everyone knows how to lose weight. Eat less, move more. You don't have to obsessively track calories and exercise like I do. Just cut your portions down if you don't have time to exercise. I don't understand why anyone would choose to be morbidly obese. And it is a choice. When children of celebrities and politicians balloon up, I see a perpetual toddler that has never nor will ever have to do any work in their life.

I grew up in a conservative household. When I moved out of it after college to go to work at my first engineering job, I continued to look normal. I still do to this day. It certainly does not happen to all women!
I think it had to do with a girl, just not the way people immediately think of. I think Adam and a certain girl stopped getting along and a certain girl wanted more airtime. So she told Tim that if he didn't get rid of Adam, she would quit. Tim probably weighed his options and realized he'd soon be able to have guests sit in Adam's spot. He brought it up to Adam and asked him to leave, and Adam agreed because he doesn't like fighting with anyone and wanted to preserve his friendship with Tim.

I was so angry in 4th grade when my teacher told our class that bamboo ONLY grew in China. I raised my hand and told everyone that my family went to Florida and I had seen bamboo growing there. Yes, it's an invasive species, but it does grow there! She told me that what I had seen with my own eyes was wrong. I even confirmed with my mom that night, who assured me that teachers can be wrong sometimes.
People like me and your brothers truly understand this. The vast majority of the racist people I have met in my lifetime were black. Each one told from childhood that they could have so much more if it weren't for white people. They say that a conservative is just a liberal who has been mugged. I believe it 100%. I wonder how naive I'd be if I were raised in the suburbs and went to safe schools.
"Don't make the black kids angry" sounds like something I would tell a new student at any of the schools I attended until college. It's how I stayed safe. They would even get angry over too much eye contact. Inner city schools are no fun. I will check out this book.
