Your opening premise is grossly incorrect. My goal wasn't/isn't to come the to the defense of the OP. To the best of my recollection I have never had any interraction with OP before. My goal is to wake every one of us up to the realities of Human Nature. I have seen a blurr of vitriol on this forum that would drive all but the saltiest of us away.
And. that is no way to build a coaltion to take back our beloved republic!
Focus, please. The premise of OP's point is valid. So, don't drive away potential supporters who fail to meet your exacting standards right out of the gate. Simply ask for a link. Is that so difficult?

No, no quaalude's for me. I have seen a level of pervasive vitriol in this forum that I have never seen anywhere else in my life, and that's saying alot 'cause I've lived in some pretty heated hotspots.
Frankly, it pisses me off to no end because a great many real Patriots are like the majority of the Human species and don't like confrontation. If you piss on them the will quietly go away and cease to be supportive. Is that what we want, to drive the supportive away?

I agree that every post should be sourced. In fact, I often ask for the OP to source the post. (Go ahead and check my history). But, I'm not an offending azz, when I do it. I simply respond: "Source please".
I don't insult or question the integrity of potentially 'one of our own'. I treat the enemy like the enemy, but not until I have good reason to believe they are so.
