I'm becoming more and more convinced we lost the Republic shortly after WWII... sad to say...

So... I'm getting some pushback from the fam regarding the subject of canceling Netflix. Funny thing is, with the exception of my son watching ww2 documentaries, we almost never watch it.

Does anyone have a more conservative option than Netflix I can offer in exchange?

Nah... the exact domain name, duck.com, redirects to ddg when followed...

Looks like ddg bought the domain from Google to use as a shortcut...

I'm with you, pede... bailed on the NFL when Goodell was bought and paid for... bailed on cable shortly after... bailed on mobile news apps after that... bailed on radio/newspapers/magazines after that...

Not sure if it helped, but doing my part.

(Side note...thank goodness for tdw or I'd have nothing but Gab.)

Did America decide that or an early version of Dominion?

We need to care first about Freedom... once free, people will figure themselves out...

Yes! It's also the reason John Hinkley, Reagan's attempted-assassin, was released in 2016 before the election... TO SEND A MESSAGE TO TRUMP that the Dems are ok with killing opponents.

Fortunately, Trump didn't flinch!

Your right! Insurrection Act is just the moment the fight starts!

I actually think Trump has mastered the ability to speak to the general population... he uses only words and phrases understood by all...

The most distinctive headgear in the military is the beret. Forgot about the AF wearing it... you're right... think even the AF security officers wore berets at one time.

Your point makes it even better, btw... now there are more.

If you're talking about '60s era, yeah, but actually, in modern times (last several decades), all Army Special Operations have worn berets...Army Special Ops has three components: Green Berets - SF Operators; Tan Berets - Army Rangers; and, Red Berets - Army Paratroopers (even paratroopers not assigned to SF units get an identifier assigned to their military specialty signifying they are paratroopers and eligible for an sf assignment).

Of interest, up until the Bush administration, the Rangers wore the black beret. The Army CoS at the time, Gen Shinseki, attended a formation at U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) headquarters at Fort Bragg. All SO troops were assembled for his review. Shinseki claims that he was so impressed by the uniform look of the beret that he returned to the Pentagon and ordered all units Army-wide to move to the black beret.

This caused an uproar in the Ranger community... stories emerged of Rangers taking leave to road march a historic Ranger black beret from Fort Benning, GA to Shinseki's desk in Arlington.

In the end, Ranger Regiment called the soldiers back before they finished and the Rangers changed to the Tan Beret.

Long story short... at one time, EVERYBODY in the Army wore a beret and why this makes a great message to send!
