Kind of? For sure they're very similar as far as Christian Cults go. I guess the major differences is that Jehovah's Witnesses aren't technical Unitarians as much as Polytheists on the basis that Jesus is the archangel Michael made flesh, and Michael is a second lesser God... and they believe in the absolute destruction of the soul rather then Hell for any non-JWs. Universalists don't believe in soul destruction, they believe literally all people will bask in the presence of the uniterian god.
Christians are Trinitarian. They believe on the basis of scripture that God exists as three separate, distinct persons who nontheless are completely unified in goals, intentions, knowledge and power.
They're also, well, Christian, in that they believe the only way to receive salvation is to bend the knee to King Jesus as God, and allow for his intercession with the Father for your sins since Jesus had already taken that punishment for you.
Unitarians reject this dichotomy for a one-ness view of God, in favor of a view that God is one person. Different groups have different opinions of what this means; Does this mean that Jesus is still God, but God leaving heaven and manifesting on earth? Or perhaps Jesus isn't divine at all, but rather an angel or an appointed human.
Regardless, you can throw out Jesus in this equation anyway, because the Universalist part of the name is the view that in the end everyone will go to Heaven. There is no Hell, and any view that claims there is a method of salvation, including Christianity, is in contridiction to their view of the afterlife.
