There will be a lot of laterals from departments in certain cities, including LAPD, NYPD, and so on.
If anything I would expect folks here would be encouraged by his comments. If this site had flopped, he’d not be saying any such thing about it. The response to the tweet is also worth reading.

Hindsight, always 20/20. But to borrow a line from a well-known movie, “let those laugh that win.”
