What should Ted Cruz do?
I dunno.... Use his public platform to gather conservatives in government to draft legislation that protects free speech? Or legislation that strips special considerations from companies (section 230) that don't honor the constitution. Publicly call-out/address congressmen/senators (both republicans and democrats) who don't back such legislation?
We're not asking for ANY special treatment here. We just want our representatives to actually enforce the very doctrine that our country's foundation is based upon. Freedom of speech for all people--- Not just those who's political party has the most control.
If Parlor's only promise is free speech, then fuck it. The amount of data they collect and the permission you give them to use your data as they see fit by signing up seems pretty nefarious.
I say you let people sign up, and then have the option to verify their account if they would like. Until then, I'm not buying what Parlor is selling.
Not a fan of it. If you read the privacy policy, it's pretty invasive (not just the data collection, but their permissions of what to do with your data). I'll hold out for a decentralized platform before registering for a social site again.
Sign of trouble?
Have you looked around? The wheels are flying off the wagon at a high rate of speed.
I expect him to start with addressing the intentional radicalization of our country by the media and social media. Grab Bill Barr by his balls, drag him into his office and start bringing justice to companies that no longer uphold the constitution. No more "strongly worded letters" that these snakes in office keep doing in hopes that it will appease the average American. I genuinely believe these tech giants are leading the charge and thriving in pushing us towards a civil war... THE INSANITY HAS TO STOP.
At this point, I honestly don't care. Where are your legislative drafts, Rep. Jordan? Where are the drafts against Nadler and Schiff for how they dragged this country's name through the mud?
