Agree. Everyone always says just research your candidates, but realistically it takes a shitload of time to wade through all the misinformation myself, now repeat that across the 20-30 candidates on the ballot. As someone that works to support a young family there literally isn’t enough time which results in bad republican candidates getting through primaries.

All that federal money going to fund the “fight against coronavirus”? Why do you think all these companies are producing years worth of stock before they have ANY clinical trial data back.

First of all, what is the point of that, they’re already infected.

Second, sounds like China.

Right now I’m wondering how HCQ & azithromyzin (ornother combinations) work on other viruses. I mean, the flu still kills 10s of thousands a year.

Look at NC. Our governor is doing nothing but prolonging this charade. We have 3 weeks until our “stay at home” order expires and he’s already talking about extending it citing the same models that were grossly overstating everything YESTERDAY. There’s no reason to make a decision for 3 weeks from now already.

Elections can’t come soon enough.

I mean with what she tried to include in the first round of relief I didn’t think there was anything else they could include.

This will be followed up by “elections are too important to be delayed” and “we must all vote by mail to ensure safety”.

It’s all a ploy to rig the election.

Thousands of patients treated is just anecdotal evidence though! We need data from precisely 1094 doctors for statistical significance. Now start listing! /s

The most important thing after generating a model is verifying it. Instead these "scientists" just keep on 'adjusting' it. The same thing happens with all of the doomsday models we're fed and they sweep the old data under the rug.

The cdc has been changing their numbers for February and March so I wouldn’t be surprised. I was tracking the daily updates and recording the amount for each day and found the cdc was changing numbers over a month old.

Started doing that myself. Amazon makes it very difficult by often not listing where it’s made. Could be an opportunity right there, an Amazon like retailer that sells only made in USA products.

It grows on trees. Duh 🙂

Unemployment is a misnomer. During this shutdown it should just be called government forced layoffs.

On the plus side, point out to anyone on the fence this is exactly what will happen if we become socialist. It doesn’t raise the people up, it lowers them down.

Honestly I find the timing of everything suspicious now. Reddit has gone bat shit insane since then too with it’s support of China/censorship.

Remember when China implemented social scores? It seems like China is the testing grounds for the deep state.

Statistical analysis is just a summary of anecdotal evidence.

What do you think the flu does? The breakdown of deaths by age is almost identical for the flu & Wuhan Virus except with fewer deaths in those under 17 for the Wuhan Virus.

In fact is there any flu-like virus that doesn't skew towards the elderly?

Some regulations are needed. In this case the FDA is shitting the bed and President Trump is going to have to put them in their place again.

All of this over because they want to make it so you can’t drink the sanitizer...

No kidding. Look at the daily summary of Chinese Virus related deaths from NYC. 14 of 1096 deaths had no underlying cause. That's 0.03% of cases in NYC.

A national standard is needed, not an international one. I really don’t care how other countries want to identify cases, we shouldn’t be making decisions off of their data.

And it’s not even about economic isolation. It’s about putting yourself in a situation where you can be self supportive in cases like this or in negotiations. If we have manufacturing capability you’re able to be able to walk away from the table in negotiations. It’s why President Trump wants to bring back manufacturing.

The flu death rate that’s constantly cited is based off of estimated flu cases. If you use confirmed positive cases of the flu you end up getting 1-2%. See if your state or city has flu statistics you can review.
