I went through something similar. Over reactive posts on social media and sensationalist news headlines from what were supposed to be credible news organizations flipped me from an uninformed voter who would say "I don't like Trump" to a curious "why are all these news channels pushing pure hatred for Trump?" and finally to "All this blatant coordinated hate is super suspect". Which finally pushed me to start researching both sides of every news story about him only to find out that 99% of the stories that made me have disdain for Trump had tabloid level journalism behind it and most of the time were just outright misleading bs.
Critical race theory... It's sad cause I know a lot of white chicks who honestly believe they're doing something good by pushing this kind of bullshit. The worst is when they're so passionate about it too, only when you dig deeper you realize they haven't even scratched the surface when it comes to actually researching what kind of idiotic ideologies they're supporting. They see a bunch of other retards on social media doing it so they hop on board thinking it must be a good thing. Problem is they stop any and all critical thinking passed a fucking headline or title.
The dudes a faggot and his fanbase is cancerous af. He could convince himself the sky was red if it meant he'd win an argument, and his fanboys would be right there backing his delusion. I don't respect anyone who actively puts clout whores above their own sons mental well being.
This a prime example why weak people should never hold any sort of power over others. They're larping around pretending they're heroes, openly utilizing dictatorial tactics because mainstream media has them brainwashed into believing they're fighting a fascist nazi regime that doesn't even exist. A bunch of ignorant idiots who truly believe they're on the right side of history failing to realize they're just ushering in an authoritarian regime with their own fearful stupidity. Brain dead low iq morons.
If you look through DFV's comment history you can find quite a few mentions of it. I sifted through his profile when WSB went private and this caused his profile to filter out any posts under WSB, and that's how I found it. He spoke of rumors over Ryan Cohen buying up Gamestop stock and appointing some of his staff to the team way before it was on anyones radar. Now that the subreddit is no longer privated it's quite a lot to sift through and I'm having trouble finding it, but you can easily find gilded comments like this ---- or this that can help you. As you would expect he was mocked for his investment.
At the end of December this was published and it vindicated his theory. (Edit: Seems as if the article is now behind a paywall (Also to correct myself, he bought up a large portion of the available stock not half).
I really wish I would've saved every piece of info I was able to digest at the time but I wasn't fully aware of what was happening. I was in the tail end of the thick of it, some time before Elons "Gamestonk" tweet, and only then had I realized what was happening. A bit after that I was able to gather that this is much more than the short squeeze. The short squeeze definitely over shadows it all and rightfully so, but people are behaving as if GameStop is going back to being a near penny stock after it's all over. If GameStop plays its cards right, leverages its current popularity and combines it with whatever Ryan has in store then I don't believe that will be the case.
Would be a shame if someone printed these out en masse in plain white cardstock paper that could easily be found at your local Staples/Office Depot/Walmart, cut them up using a cheap swingline/guillotine paper trimmer and distributed them across every major area in their city.
