This plan relies on secure midterms. Why the hell would that happen?
That's fine. Kemp betrayed the country and we should never forget that or forgive him.
It's not dooming to say that "yeah we'll vote in 2024 and it will be better!" is worthless.
I have hope, but people need to get on the level where they realize it's do or die and time for at minimum large scale public disobedience and protesting, but people seem to think just voting again is enough. If Trump comes out and talks about how we will put republicans in office to fix things, then as much as I love him he's not the leader we need now.
Too little, too late. Fuck Kemp. The country is gone in part thanks to him. Pathetic coward.
I don't like the new flair. The idea that there is "Biden Regret" accepts the premise that he was chosen by the people. While, yes, a lot of people voted for him, it was not enough to win. Trump won, by a lot. If we move back to the old cycle of criticizing the day to day politics of the left while they continue to slowly destroy what's left of our culture it's game over. We can never move on from election fraud.
Nothing surprises me. The country is lost. Just waiting for people to be ready for 1776 (2) or for everyone to accept that communism won.
Good thing we have remained passive and peaceful while the election was stolen. Our moral victory is worth freedom disappearing from the globe.
Exactly. Being a coward who accepts all that power is an evil act in and of itself.
You're throwing the country - and therefore freedom - under the bus so you can have a title.
I currently live in a voter ID state (but Dominion so lol who cares) but I used to live in Pennsylvania and they've never taken me off the voter rolls.
People have a hard time believing me when I say that anyone could have gone into my old church, said they were me, and voted with no identification or anything. But it's absolutely possible.
but Atlanta won't check and you're a racist if that upsets you, bigot.
It's sad, but his problem is believing in people too much. If the whole world were more like him it would be great, but he really thinks people want what's best for the country rather than to simply power grab for themselves.
I'm guessing the 25% are telling the pollsters "voting doesn't matter!" and they're marking them down as "would not vote"
It certainly won't be enough because no one will be courageous and act on it.
That said, I totally agree that I'm glad she's still fighting. People who are upset at her don't understand, I think, how much we were asking for in such a short amount of time.
We put the world on the shoulders of her and Trump, and everyone else with power turned on them.
People complained about typos in her filings, but we see today how important being very very fast with filing was, although the coward cocaine mitch picks were going to screw us anyway.
"People call the republicunts who oppose us RINOs. I don’t see why. They’ve ALWAYS been the face of the Republican Party since the days of Nixon,"
actually a great point. I'm stealing this one.
"Hey Mahomes, Trump won and everyone knows it."
Yeah. Honestly, though, I think over the past couple months Ken and Todd have been way better than I remember them being. They don't watch their language or dance around things like masks suck don't wear them and Trump won.
Tweet says Feb 5 but I'm not letting it freak me out. I think if there had been a turn for the worse on his health Rush would update the audience directly, even if he had to record it rather than doing it live. We'll see what Ken says filling in today.
If he wants to lose the next rigged election, sure. If we don't fix how we vote - and I don't see that happening - you can be any republican that wins is a swamp rat.
Chat is comfy af
Not to give false hope, but you can bet he's getting top of the line, cutting edge treatment that could yield previously improbable results. He's already destroyed initial estimates for how long he had. Gotta take it one day at a time.
The rest of this thread is a perfect example that you are exactly right. Don't stop reminding people of the actual stakes
I disagree. The way I see it dooming pushes people towards necessary drastic action.
Giving false hope let's us slip slowly into captivity losing strength every day.
Which of the swing fraud states is going to allow the voting machines to be "ripped out?" They'll arrest anyone who tries. Suggesting the election was stolen is going to be labeled as conspiring with domestic terrorists.
If you think I can honestly bet on any sort of positive change to how elections are run in the next 3 years in places where we need it, I'll take your word for it and shut up for now, but I don't think that counts as something realistic.
This isn't an answer, though. I'm fine with putting it out of my mind, and I think that's the problem. We all are. Sure, in my lifetime things may be okay, but I'm 28 and not bringing children into a world where they won't have individual liberty. This stuff matters.
We've been slowly losing on every cultural front for 50 years. Trump was the first slight pushback and now outsider opposition is permanently locked out. You don't get a free and fair election after one is obviously exposed as being rigged and there are no consequences.
why wouldn't it be pretty? Everyone knows 2020 was stolen. We had one protest where one of our protesters was shot and there were no casualties on the other side then we all went home with our tail between our legs. Why would 2022/2024 being stolen not be pretty?
