Yea but not at the die level they (TSMC) have. I think we have already started rebuilding - there's one in progress in North Texas, by TI in Sherman, TX and TSMC is building something in Phoenix. And Samsung and other companies are building silicon manufacturing operations for their specific products (in Austin for Samsung).

My bet is the feds have some other secret operations elsewhere, too.

Only the millionaire tech bros can afford living in the city limits. The rest of the imports from California can only afford Williamson and Hays counties.

I think it's exacerbated by illegals, cost of living and inflation skyrocketing, jobs going overseas and China intentionally flooding the country with fentanyl. Also a lot of veterans with PTSD that have trouble adjusting to civilian life.

"Van life", glamping, car camping etc have become quite commonplace which I think is a reflection of everything going to crap in the country. And all the Satanic culture.

It won't make a difference - federal income taxes barely service a fraction of the national debt much less pay for anything in the government. The only benefit is making the IRS screech and howl and since they have their owned armed force and Biden increased the auditing numbers, they're coming after your cryptocurrency, too.

Even if Putin is the bad guy, it's none of our business. Not a threat to national interests, just to Hunter's portfolio.

In a way, I like that food and gas costs are soaring because people need to experience pain before they'll be motivated to do something. Hopefully it won't be too late.

Some people might be surprised to know how low the pay is for Texas politicians. They also only meet every other year. Maybe the Feds could learn something.

Won't the weather flesh out some of the worst offenders?

A sport here in TX is watching how many newcomers take off after their first full summer here or find out about all the things they are allergic to (or TX has an allergic reaction to them).

One problem with Cali is it's not too hard to be homeless with the beautiful Mediterranean climate that doesn't require A/C or winter heat. Redoubt states and areas require people who can plan for harsh winters. Then again, there's Chicago and Detroit...

We need to make them scared of the guillotine again.

He has full powers over the State Guard (separate from federal NG) and it sure would be great if he sent them to the border. From what I understand their hands will still be tied, though. Lots of horses rearing and body blocking. It's really quite ridiculous.

This is something I've been sore about since before Snowden. It seems obvious to me that activities like metadata collection are a blatant violation of the 4th amendment and the FISA rubber-stamp court is a joke, esp. considering the NSA simply duplicates traffic at all major internet peering points and stores it in Bluffdale and San Antonio.
