Lately, many businesses in the small towns near me (I live in the sticks) have stopped worrying whether or not you wear a mask. Many of them don't bother anymore.
They used to worry, but then a couple of Karens took video and snitched on them to the state. They did the "we're sorry BS, the state went away, and now it's all good: The aforementioned Karens are now banned from nearly all of these stores, for life, with explicit instructions that they will be charged with trespassing if they so much as show up in the parking lot.
This is how it has to happen. If a Karen snitches, you kick them out of the store, and full-on trespass the bitch. The mask thing will eventually go away, this I can assure you... but those Karens are fucked for life, and they'll remember it for the rest of their lives, every time they have to drive 50+ miles one-way just to get groceries.
Meanwhile in Iowa, South Dakota, and Florida...

Sure, a case could be made that eventually they will corrupt as well, but in the case of a few of the sites (here, Gab, etc) I sincerely doubt it.
The exodus has already begun to Gab, MeWe, Minds, Bitchute, etc. Once the conservatives are off of Twatter, we'll have no reason to bother visiting the site for any reason. This will leave the libtards and bots to fight among themselves in an ever-tightening cycle of rooting out the 'non-woke' and harassing them to oblivion.
Eventually (actually, I daresay by end-of-year this year), Twitter dies. Facebook faces the same fate, but may hold out longer. Sites like this, Gab, and similar will in turn grow and become more dominant. Apple and Google won't have a choice but to acknowledge, them, then accommodate them (example: Google cannot get their grubby little AdSense claws into places like Gab, so...)

Better idea - how about encouraging them to use one of a growing pile of alt tech social websites that have already put in the money, sweat, and time? MeWe, Minds, Gab, HERE, Bitchute, Rumble, Odysee, etc etc etc.
If my 75-year-old mother and her friends can bounce from FB to Gab without missing a beat, I'm pretty sure that most other boomers can do so just as easily. You just have to point out where they can go and help them get there.
