Oh boy, a couple of years ago I saw "An Inconvenient Truth" was available on Netflix so I figured I'd watch it just for giggles. That thing has NOT aged well AT ALL in its predictions of doom.
I did get a good chuckle remembering everyone falling all over themselves about how great this movie was and it was awarded all sorts of documentary film prizes. I'm a wee bit of a documentary film affectionado and boy did this thing not deserve any kind of praise. Setting aside the stupid "facts" it presents, it's basically the most boring man in the world giving a PowerPoint. I mean, I knew Al Gore was stiff, but in this he's drier than cardboard to the point of being torturous. He was so damn dull I couldn't finish the movie. I figured I'd get back to watching this failure of a weather Nostradamus later, but then Netflix dropped it and I didn't care.
How Al Gore was put forward and accepted as the personality to represent anything is beyond me.
