From Trump. It's strategy. It gets his name in the headlines next to a (hypothetical) positive scenario for him. This kind of wild optimism is very on-brand for him and has been successful in the past.

The trick is to not get complacent this time around though. Last time even with him trumpeting his confidence, no one thought it was going to be easy. That might be different this election as he's already won once. Don't let it happen.
