How do you imagine that? From what I understand, the testing is done by taking a sample from the mouth or nose using a sterilized swab. If it's already infected, then all the test results would show as positive.
Worst you can get is a false positive when you're not infected, but the test says otherwise, but this is an extremely rare thing, and every test has some minute chance to give a false positive, so it's no different from any other test in this regard.
