And I forgot to add this. A fellow co worker noticed my conservative stance and approached me to tell me he was also conservative. He invited me to a conservative emailing group around the company. Turns out there are a lot more of us than I thought. We even coordinate on bills to vote on in our state etc.

I can't get people to realize protests were put in place to stop violence. A protest is supposed to be a way of saying, we are protesting instead of forcibly removing you from office and getting a guillotine. That's why BLM and antifa get away with all of this. They are actually willing to fight and go to jail. They realized protests weren't doing anything anymore because they have no real threat behind them. So they reintroduced the threat. Until we are ready to match this, we will continue to lose.

Think of it like this. Why would your kids keep listening to your warnings when you aren't going to actually discipline them and they know it.

Politicians have no incentive to listen. There's no threat behind conservative protests.

The second is debatable. If enough people stop it will affect them. If they start raising prices or becoming more hostile to vendors we may see change.
