Father-In-Law felt crappy over the weekend and decided to go to an urgent care to get tested. He was asymptomatic at presentation and Monday and was purely going to see if he was exposed.

Urgent care said they were not a testing center, yet tested my wife 2 months prior, and would NOT test him; however, they explained he would be diagnosed as COVID positive, despite not getting a test! Their exact words were, “you fit the symptoms and therefore we are diagnosing you COVID positive.”

My wife has been concerned that the numbers in my state have been high, and this was a first hand example of how these numbers are being manipulated. At this location, I can surmise that anyone with flu-like symptoms is being presented as COVID positive with no testing.

Bonus- he was told he is not allowed to work for 14 days.
