It's been a well known fact for decades. I have no idea why they picked that one to mock him.

Overpopulation definitely exists, not as a global lack of food or place to live, but as a local problem with resources.

The post I replied to mentioned Japan, I think it's very difficult to argue that more people would solve anything in that nation. What they and many others in the west struggle with are all these welfare pyramid schemes that needs a constantly growing tax base to maintain as the growing debt is constantly pushed one generation ahead.

Japan doesn't have any signficant migration numbers. And those that stay there do so temporarily, citizenships are not granted and welfare is non existant. Unlike the US and EU they could easily kick out all of them in a month.

As far as western nations go we are in deep shit. But afaik population is not decling? Closing borders and repatriating these people needs to take priority.

You do understand that a particular area can only support a certain amount of people?

In many places they are waaaay past that point and it causes a number of problems.

Simple as that.

Depends a lot on other factors. But you don't see countries take over others simply beacuse they reach a certain number of bodies.

What we see today are fools giving up their own homelands to strangers that ruined theirs.

I understand, but this is similar to how the left is trying to push 'green' energy. You're talking about the here and now vs a future that might be. We have to deal with the (local) realities like soil degradation, overfishing and water shortages now.

Let the people who want to have many kids do so and those who want none or one do that. But would you really like to live in a US with 5* the current population?

Agreed, but simply going 'infinite babies!' is a race to the bottom.

It's perfectly reasonable to think that a natural and non enforced population decrease is a good thing and refuse replacement migration. Take Japan as the prime example.

It most definitely is. Take Dubai for instance. The fuckers have drained the groundwater levels like 500 feet in a few decades. These shithole countries are overpopulated and now they push the overflow towards us in the west.

Do you wanna live in a dystopian crowded hellhole like urban China or India?

Do you think resources are limitless?

Fuck no. Overpopulation is a very real thing.

Edit to clarify: Japan is crowded as hell and completely dependent on energy and food imports. They are not in a position where 'more people' is the solution.

Last stand? No, this is the globalist Pearl Harbor, soon to be followed by a battle of Midway.

Except if there's a somewhat nasty flu going around. Then everything goes out the window.
