There is a growing body of evidence showing that ventilators do more harm than good. The FDA has not studied ventilators for their effectiveness in treating COVID-19. The virus attacks the blood, making it hard to transport oxygen. The ventilators have to be turned up to such powerful levels that it frequently destroys the lung tissue of older, more vulnerable patients.
It’s far better to treat the patients with a drug that targets blood pathogens (like the proven malaria drug hydroxychloroquine). In addition, more critically ill patients should be placed on their stomach and given pure oxygen.

The study involved guinea pigs. They weren’t “indoors”. It definitely proves causation. The fact that people in air conditioned environments can still get it only further re-enforces the causal factor (lower temps).

Yeah, I don’t know about Taiwan, but they said the same thing about Singapore early on. I checked the weather there. It was getting into the 90’s. The flu hates warm weather. It wasn’t their “preparedness” that saved them, it was the heat.

They really thought that they could keep the US shut down for 6 months to a year and a half. That people would be terrified. First, they didn’t expect the Trump pill. Or that Trump would push it so hard. Second, they didn’t expect the virus to crap out this quick. Not sure why. It’s just a common cold with more severe problems for the immunodeficienct. And lastly, they didn’t expect the reopening task force. Trump has really refocused people onto getting the US opened back up. It’s clear this whole thing was a fraud. Trump has exposed it. What they are afraid of is that the US public is starting to be able to see that.
You have principles, and expect them to be applied equally to all situations.
