I swapped out Coke for Dr. Pepper, then replaced that with some flavored seltzers. Drink coffee or tea for the caffeine. It was easier to make gradual changes than just quiting it outright.

If the left were logically consistent, then yes. But they aren't.

If that thing is chin deep in a pillow, I can take my time getting away from it since it's clearly embedded itself in the floor and isn't going anywhere without assistance.

Type 2 is just about insulin resistance. Being fat can cause and exacerbate it, but it isn't the only reason and there are otherwise healthy people that can develop it from sickness or injury. Even heard a few stories of gestational diabetes not going away and turning into type 2, but I don't know the people that happened to, or anything about their health.

Both are genetic. The fat ones would have developed type 2 anyway when they were around 70, even without the shit diet and excessive fat. It just wouldn't have been as bad and they wouldn't need as much medication. I have elderly, prediabetic relatives that aren't obese.

I've been type 1 for thirty years. I've had these conversations with my own endocrinologists a few times and spent time with other diabetics. This isn't just half remembered info I got from fatpeoplehate.

Type 1's can be fat. Type 2's can be fit. I've seen both in the endocrinologist's waiting room for the past thirty years.

You can have a genetic predisposition to either. The fat type two's just trigger it much earlier with their weight and diet. A lot of them continue not giving a damn and still eat like shit even as their feet rot off and their kidneys fail.

I have cousins like that. Haven't heard anything from them in over a decade. But all it would take for my own mother to help the cops to find me and forcibly vaccinate me is for them to stick a bum in a lab coat and pay him to say it's necessary. She'd do it with the best of intentions and never question it. It's difficult to have NPC's as loved ones, even during normal times.

Your own friends and family will sell you out "for your own good," and they'll happily give up their freedom for the illusion of security. It's been heartbreaking to watch people I like go along with it without any resistance.

Yes, but they're required to wear sleeveless shirts.

Considering you're a handshake arguing with people over semantics... You're personal definition is meaningless, btw. Using your bare hand as a wedge or lever would count as using tech under that criteria. And you never did address the shovel on the right.

If you consider anything more advanced than simple tools tech, sure. But I already see a shovel there. The implication is advanced technology then.

Pretty sure I can see everything needed to make a fishing spear in that picture.

You're playing a female the entire time. Male character appearance is an animus glitch, so you still get the historical experience of the canonically girl Eivor. They apparently wanted a female lead, but lacked the balls to just do it and stick her on the cover.

Not all potential weapons are weapons. The cane is likely a required medical device for whichever inmate had it. Could just as easily strangle someone with your clothing, but that also isn't a weapon.

When Superman was killed by Doomsday, there was a black superhero called Man of Steel, aka John Henry Irons, who was one of several people trying to fill the void as a superman expy. They could make a movie about him. They could use any number of existing black superheroes, or make entirely new ones. But they won't. That would take effort and talent.

Still waiting on "Covid! The musical." The dramatic tale of a bunch of bored nurse in an empty hospital.

Conservative libertarian atheist. (Also a knife rights activist, which is a subject that makes even some gun nuts twitchy.) Have hated communists and authoritarians since long before I knew the terms. Too many people on all sides seem to think that if you hold one particular view, or check one of the diversity boxes, you must hold certain political beliefs. And to that I say, Joe "you ain't black" Biden wants his argument back.

You weren't aware that your friend was robbing that bank. You were just driving him around. You still count as an accessory.
