I think it's largely attention based. Just read the comments to his posts, the things people say to him. The good comments, I mean. He's getting showered with love, and based on the lawsuit filed against him by his former partners, it seems to line up with his personality. Def a major ego complex going on. I used to shit on him alot, then I came around to him for a bit... but it's becoming clear he's not going to deliver on any of his claims.
