I might offer this, if you offended or hurt someone you genuinely love and who loves you, only a sincere apology would start to repair that relationship. If you offered a half-a** apology the other person would know it and the relationship would suffer for it. God loves each of us, and when we hurt someone else, damage a relationship, hurt ourselves, etc., we offend God. When we ask for forgiveness, we are saying we are sorry for the hurt and damage we have caused.
Just thinking out loud... what about parking at Regan Airport and then walking into the district? Or parking at Fashion City Mall and walking through the pentagon parking lot into the district?
I make it a point to stare until they see me and then laugh at them, or point and start talking to people in the car with me. A couple people have been embarrassed and take off their mask and some drive off mad.
