Expect temperatures in the 20’s-30’s at night and low 40’s for the highs.

I see many posts of people planning to sleep in their vehicles or in tents and many more with no plan at all. If this is you, please at least make a go bag with cold weather gear.

Here are some tips:

A plastic rain poncho will keep you dry. If you sit on a chair or bucket and carefully place a candle or can of sterno between your feet, you will stay comfortably warm. Just don’t forget it is there and light yourself on fire. Learned the trick in SERE and learned the warning once while hunting.

The candle or can of sterno will also keep a vehicle warm enough to be safe. Just make sure you have adequate air circulation.

Bring a few days of food. I recommend protein bars, foil packs of tuna, and canned soups if you have room.

Small propane heaters are great, just remember that the small canisters only last about 4-5 hours if running constantly.

Check your local thrift stores for sleeping bags. Any variety should be fine for 20 deg and up. Just wash it first.

When you’re done making your cold weather supply kit, make a second one. You WILL run into a fellow American who didn’t plan ahead and you will be the guy who made sure they made it thru the night and were 100% ready for the fight ahead.

I'm with you on the Fuck YouTube and Fuck Facebook sentiments, but I have a business that depends on these platforms for marketing and sales. And before some asshat with zero work experience says "well, you're part of the problem then!" I'd like to see how you would operate a retail business without using any services that are cucked.

Accept cash? Is your bank based? Accept any major CC's? none are based What about your insurance provider? Payment processor? Internet provider? Landlord? shit, my rent is just shy of $10k/month and most of these costs have no alternatives. I've seen the same people say "fuck facebook, youtube" and then say "fuck amazon and walmart" without realizing that eliminating social media for businesses just gives more business to Bezos. If you are saying the cost of closing millions of small businesses is worth it if we can just get rid of the tech giants, you are no different than the ones saying the same thing about WUFLU lockdowns.

I don't use any social media for personal use, so until the new replacements like Parler and Rumble allow me to create a business page, I have to stick with the ones that work.

Anyone else noticing even the local, conservative AM radio stations are going the doomer route?

We have 660AM, 820, and 570 here in the DFW area and they ALL have news bits every 1/2 hour. All of them mention “multiple lawsuits have been dismissed due to lack of evidence” without mentioning those aren’t suits brought by the Trump team and they all say “projected president elect Biden.” They all act like there’s no proof of massive voter fraud.

This place and a few good podcasts are the last bastion of conservatism. Please let your local stations know how you feel. They need to wake up and realize we aren’t drinking the Rino koolaid.

I heard there was a Stop the Steal rally in Dallas this past weekend. First I heard of it was two days later. I would have been there along with many North Texas pedes.

I spent my good years and my kids’ childhoods in the desert but I really don’t have any regrets. I look at the war we face here on the home front as being more important than any haji we were dropping ordinance on. I see you younger pedes with skills and ambition that I never had and I’m so proud of you all. Keep making dank memes. Keep weaponizing your autism. You will likely find your county election page at the top. You can check your registration and polling location for this election.(found out mine changed from 2018)

You will also see every candidate, so you can find out more about them. This is just good to know, but not necessary, since you will be only voting for R's since you don't want my boot up your ass.

The main thing most voters mess up is the referendums! Check to see if there are any referendums that will be voted on during this election. These are local issues and are usually worded deceptively. For example: "Vote yes for proposition 12 if you don't want the city council to not stop stealing your tax dollars for stupid projects."

Most referendums are things your shitty local government couldn't get done legally, so they added it to the ballot, knowing 80% of voters will be blindsided by it on Nov 3 and won't know how to vote.
