I just looked at their local website in central Europe and can't tell if I'm actually on the right site or got redirected to South Africa.
Not to mention they shill their "sustainability credits" all over the place.
fresh bread from a local baker
Is that even still a thing?
Around here there are no real local bakers left. They all use highly-processed industrial dough which is already shaped and formed and just toss it in the oven for a few minutes. Doesn't matter if it's chains or locals. Nobody can compete with giant dough factories.
They do indeed, both on an account level and on a post/comment level. For example just having patriots.win in a post or comment shadowbans it.
A quick way to see banned/deleted posts is by replacing "reddit" with "revddit" in the URL. Works for subreddits, user profiles, comment threads, etc.
The upside is, if the government is directly involved in censorship they can no longer claim the 1st amendment doesn't apply. You'd at least be able to fight the censorship in court.
Right now the censorship is extra judicial.
maybe people will realize how stupid it was
You vastly overestimate people.
The radicals who have been pushing this bullshit are never going to admit (or even realize) they were wrong. The masses who went along with it will think whatever the media tells them to think.
It's scary that the cover isn't fake or a parody: https://thepostmillennial.com/this-is-healthy-cosmopolitan-promotes-plus-sized-wellness-despite-covid-19-obesity-risks
