I echo almost all of this, with the exception of never voting for a R again. If Trump does create his own political party then I will gladly vote for that candidate. But we can't just give up and completely hand over this country via apathy.

If that means running yourselves, then do it. At a minimum get involved in politics at a local level. Every patriot who is active is another seat at the table.
