No...?

It's all by design. The NWO is going all in and activating all contingencies because after Brexit, Trump, Bolsonaro and the Visegrad Group, they feel the pendulum swinging back. And all people had to do for that was vote and carry on living, just like they're doing right now. Imagine what will happen if push comes to shove.

Say what you will about the ozzies. Having "git facked" as a go-to reply does wonders for your country's morale.

It's not about arguments. You're at war, not arguing politics at the table with your misguided, but still civil lib friends, so it's all about rhetoric and morale.

If you have genuine misgivings, keep them to yourself, unplug and go do something relaxing. And then take a whiff of Deus Vult and come back.

It's not about facts, pede: This is all rhetoric and morale. Which is why blackpilling and concern trolling are very real and should be quashed and nipped in the bud. If you have genuine misgivings, keep them to yourself, unplug and go do something relaxing.

You're at war, not arguing politics at the table with your misguided, but still civil lib friends. It's the reason you don't want a Peter Hitchens rallying the troops in the front lines, but rather an Alex Jones, no matter how you might otherwise feel about him.

I feel you, and seeing someone standing by himself and being slapped from the back doesn't sit well with me, either (punk and cowardly thing to do)... yet that in and on itself is MUCH better than what happens when the sides are reversed.

Apparently, our other comment thread won't take any more replies, so I'll just pick up this little gem to point out the gall of your trying the ad hominem card after an entire thread's worth of you moodily cussing at others and attacking their character.

Truly, self-awareness to match your reading comprehension and ability to follow a train of thought.

2
Lusipede 2 points ago +2 / -0

There, there. It's not your fault you have a hard time reading and comprehending even when it's standing right before you. You were just born that way.

Funnily enough, your peculiar attempt at emphasizing the "I" evoked the image of a special South Park child trying and failing to get its head around something.

2
Lusipede 2 points ago +2 / -0

And still he persists, like a goldfish banging its tiny head against the glass bowl of reality. If that's your way of covering up the half-assed job you did of following a simple train of thought, have at it. But here, because I'm feeling charitable and don't mind doing one last bit of work for you...

One last time, because no kid gets left behind

With now-clearly-contradicted quotes, as clear-cut as it gets for the slower kids in class:

“It seems kind of intuitively obvious that if you put something—whether it’s a scarf or a mask—in front of your nose and mouth, that will filter out some of these viruses that are floating around out there,” says Dr. William Schaffner, professor of medicine in the division of infectious diseases at Vanderbilt University. The only problem: that’s not likely to be effective against respiratory illnesses like the flu and COVID-19. If it were, “the CDC would have recommended it years ago,” he says. “It doesn’t, because it makes science-based recommendations.”

The science, according to the CDC, says that surgical masks won’t stop the wearer from inhaling small airborne particles, which can cause infection. Nor do these masks form a snug seal around the face. The CDC recommends surgical masks only for people who already show symptoms of coronavirus and must go outside, since wearing a mask can help prevent spreading the virus by protecting others nearby when you cough or sneeze.

Take it as a learning experience and try not to make even more of a fool out of yourself. (Loved the dramatic declarative statements, though. Gotta keep the secret king act going, even if your adolescent cussing and usage of abbreviations kinda ruins it).

Is your attention span really this short? No one here was discussing whether or not masks work, and most certainly not in my replies to you - what's being discussed is the fact that we've been getting conflicting statements from authorities since this whole thing started (all set up in an easy read for you in the latest link), and that one's word isn't the Gospel just because one works for the medical community.

You really must be on some sort of spectrum, at least where reading comprehension is concerned. Either that, or the concept of direct and indirect speech completely eludes you. Here, allow me to educate you with an imaginary article quote.

Thedonald.win user Lusipede says that booleh isn't particularly bright. "He just can't follow a simple train of thought. He's more shrill than shill, really. Sad!"

Now tell me: Did uncle Lusipede say you're a doodoo-head in that quote or not?

Lusipede 2 points ago +2 / -0

Are you functionally illiterate, a little autistic, or just unaware of how one writes direct and indirect speech? Or just throwing things out there as a last resort, in hopes that people won't bother to check it and not realize what an utter dunce you're making of yourself? Here, the entire paragraph, no emphasis or ellipses:

Royal Victoria Hospital’s Director of Safety, Security, and Occupational Health Cathy Clark says masks like the N-95 wouldn’t even protect you from COVID-19 anyway. “Where those masks are really required is in a hospital setting,” Clark told Barrie 360, “where we are dealing with patients with an airborne illness. Something like measles, tuberculosis, varicella (chickenpox), those are things that are spread really readily person-to-person. But coronavirus we know is predominantly a droplet precaution.”

One more time, for the one-man special needs class in session: It's not about whether or not masks work. It's about the conflicting and contradictory advice and statements people have gotten from authorities, medical or otherwise. As per that article you clearly Ctrl+F'd over.

Lusipede 2 points ago +2 / -0

You really aren't very good at this, are you? Once again, for the slow kid in the room:

masks like the N-95 wouldn’t even protect you from COVID-19 anyway. Where those masks are really required is in a hospital setting where we are dealing with patients with an airborne illness. Something like measles, tuberculosis, varicella [...[ that are spread really readily person-to-person. But coronavirus we know is predominantly a droplet precaution

Now less cussing like a moody teenager and try to focus. But, if reading comprehension fails you again, try plain reading. Here, in a digested format that even you might comprehend: What's Up With All the Contradictory Advice About COVID-19 and Face Masks?

Lusipede 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yep. The whole thing is borderline meme-worthy copypasta, such are the levels of conceit and lack of self-awareness

2
Lusipede 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ah, and now, while you cuss like a gainsaid moody teenager when what is actually written doesn't conform to what you believe, you go into the "tHis iS whAt sHe reAlLy mEanT" phase.

Besides, you doggedly and persistently keep missing the point of the matter, which is that no, it doesn't make any sense. It doesn't matter what agenda or motives you ascribe to it, there have been documented, conflicting and changing statements from the medical community on this matter. Trying (and failing) to deny it and the confusion it caused among the populace is the hallmark of one who isn't paying attention or is just a willful flunky.

2
Lusipede 2 points ago +2 / -0

Not my fault your attention span and eyesight aren't up to standard.

If she says the masks wouldn't even protect you from covid, it means she's saying the masks are useless against covid, not that the masks are too good for covid. Otherwise, she would also say that masks are too good for "measles, tuberculosis and chickenpox", because those can also be avoided by staying away from people, which is something hospital staff can't really do, as it'd be self-defeating. Are you keeping up?

Good. Then, before you embarrass yourself further, try to remember that this all goes back to your taking issue with another poster claiming that doctors were saying masks are useless, i.e., there's been contradictory, changing and/or evolving information, all of which stated authoritatively.

Also, try not to show your shillness in such egregious fashion. Typing things like "your side" is a little too telling.

2
Lusipede 2 points ago +2 / -0

Didn't notice the non-hyperlinked ellipsis separating the two distinct links, eh? They must be running low on funds, if they're paying aged shills with declining vision now... At least that explains why you felt the need to use bold and large fonts and can't be bothered to use punctuation.

Try to keep up. And get some intellectual honesty, while you're at it, because playing two out of the three wise monkeys isn't really working out for you.

2
Lusipede 2 points ago +2 / -0

And reading comprehension (or reading, period) seems not to be your forte, either. Here, all nice and quoted just for you:

Royal Victoria Hospital’s Director of Safety, Security, and Occupational Health Cathy Clark says masks like the N-95 wouldn’t even protect you from COVID-19 anyway

Carry on like a nice little shill, now.

I may be preaching to the choir here, but this is nothing short of amazing. Just wanted to post my appreciation for all the work and dedication that has been put in here. You're doing God's work, pedes.

Lusipede 4 points ago +4 / -0

Exactly. They'd be thrilled if they actually thought Orange Man Bad was poisoning himself. But no, what's important is that the plebs get scared off an easy and readily available medicine against the Chinese Lockdownrona.

This is textbook Trump. Reports come out that he might restore WHO funding, and even Breitbart indulges in bedwetting. Wait a day or two, and this is what you get.

This is why I don't pay attention to "reports" anymore. They're always autistically one-track: "OMG Trump might restore WHO funding!!!". No one bothers to think or even speculate, if that possibility might come with a catch or is part of a larger rationale. No, they just throw it out there to fan the flames and get the clicks.
