He’s supposed to count all the votes on the 6th January, so the state capitals will ALL have to somehow sort it out on the 6th. I’m guessing this means that he wants the respective state’s legislators to vote on which slate to accept. I don’t see how they’re all going to be able to do that at such short notice. However, if they don’t meet the deadline, he could then toss the contested slates and take this to a House vote, which should = a Trump victory. It’s all very confusing.
