Powell is not Q, but its not correct to say that she didn't fall into the Qanon world, especially becoming so close to Lin Wood where both of them would stay up all night re-tweeting Q-esque theories. She repeated claims that stemmed from the Q community, such as "the seized servers showed Trump won 410 electoral votes" and even phrased them as fact such as "I can confirm the servers were seized but don't know if the good guys or bad guys got them."

Not really the evidence that Powell was claiming. She was claiming she "had proof" that votes were switched. Her lawsuit contained no proof. Just "witnesses" who claimed that the machines could be accessed by foreign countries, unfortunately, that's not proof that votes were altered.

It's a shame, because Trump seemingly knew they were going to use mail-in ballots to try and steal the election. He was tweeting about this as early as January 2020 and even mentioned it in the debate.
Yet a legal team was never pre-assembled in advance in prepare for this. We were left scrambling, weeks after the election, to ultimately assemble a subpar, shitty legal team. I like Rudy, but he's a horrible lawyer and hasn't practiced law since the early 90s. He also has zero experience in election law and it was evident by all the mistakes he was making (not being aware of certain legal terms, etc.).

I agree, I don't think Powell is a bad person or purposely mislead people. Robert Barnes also said this, and he has known her and was the one to even recommend her to defend Flynn, and he said she's a great person but he noticed she has a trait where she's prone to fall for disinformation.
I think a combination of her passion and what was going on, led her to somehow buddy-up with Lin Wood, who is a total whackjob. From there, she fell into the Qanon world, and then when she started repeated unvetted claims and information.
Its quite obvious she dug herself into a hole and now she's trying to crawl out of it.
I really hope she learned from this, and distances herself from Lin Wood and McInerney. She seems like a very passionate and patriotic person and I do believe she had good intentions, but just got carried away with it all.

Powell originally was on track with mail-in ballots. Then she went off the rails and getting sucked into the Qanon world and as such, kept on making more sensationalist and greater claims.
Robert Barnes, who was working alongside Powell, even said this himself. Originally, EVERYONE was focused on the mail-in ballots and there was massive pressure there to audit the signatures. This was back when a bunch of us were crowdsourcing information and the mathematical impossibilities were in the spotlight (which 100% scream mail-in ballot fraud in certain Democrat strongholds within the swing states).
The GA governor was about to let this happen, right before Powell went off the rails and started repeating the Qanon conspiracy theories. That's when GA had their easy "out" to dismiss the entire election fraud case as a wild nutjob conspiracy theory.
Overall, the entire legal fight devolved into a total mess.
Obviously, the tactic you believe they tried, didn't work. I don't see how proving a vast international communist plot to rig voting machines overseas is easier to prove than mail-in ballot fraud (which even Carter himself warned of decades ago) along with tons of information describing how mail-in ballots are easily prone to fraud.
Why even defend a failed strategy that put us in the shitty situation we are in now? IMO, all of the attention should have been 100% focused on the real and very visible fraud, which was 6-7 Democrat cities within the states that stopped the count kicked out observers, covered the windows, and then spent days/weeks finding batches of 200,000 ballots all for Biden and nothing down ballot.
We do have evidence of this, including the polling location that kicked out all the workers and pulled suitcases out with ballots and started counting them at 2AM when no one was around. We have witnesses who said they say thousands of mail-in ballots with zero folds, perfectly marked just Biden, with nothing down ballot. We have witnesses who saw them trucking in caches of ballots late at night with zero chain of custody after they stopped the count.
And we went from Trump about to claim victory and being ahead so big that election mathematicians were saying it was nearly impossible for Biden to catch up, to them spending up to a week coordinated between states to keep dumping ballots until they barely eeked out a lead and called it.
It's that simple and its 100% DAMN obvious. Why discredit that by trying to argue claims of communist vote swapping, secret satellites changing the votes, and foreign powers hacking into the voting machines?

So why is she trying to get the case dropped so desperately? Why not proceed, let it go into discovery, and present her evidence?
Its really depressing how many so-called conservatives are so easily grifted by her. All it takes is an ounce of logical and rational thought. She sure talked a big game when all the big donations were rolling in. Now that the donations dried up, suddenly its "oh, that was just my opinion and I didn't expect the public to immediately take them as fact, please drop the case."
