I had a love/hate relationship with tiktok. The comment section was truly unbiased and you never know which way the vibe is going to go. Liberals constantly make stupid anti-Trump tiktoks and get roasted in the comments on how they're idiots with the most upvoted comments being Trump2020. Sometimes it goes the other way though, but you truly get a feel for what people believe. Yahoo was the closest thing to that before, but now yahoo disabled their comments because too much pro-Trump stuff in their liberal biased articles.

Same here. Me and my whole family got "the flu" in mid december after a co-worker had just go back from China Dec 1. Never got tested though, we all just slept for like 2 days straight. Didn't feel like a normal flu as I didn't feel sick or want to throw up. Just super high fever and very tired and a bit of a headache.

You make a good point, but the virus in that chart shows we've been moving away from the norm starting about 10 weeks ago. We've only been on lockdown for about 2 weeks. I don't think many people were staying home back in January when the divergence took place.

But then again, since the Chinese were locked down, maybe less of them were coming here and giving us diseases.

I guess the question is...is it true the morgues are being overrun or are we just believing what the media says. The mortality rate of the planet(before covid-19) was 8 deaths per 1,000 per year. So in a city of 8.6m, that means about 64k New yorkers die per year, or about 5,333 per month. (Should note that deaths in the winter are about 20% higher than in the summer in the US so for a month like March you'd probably have about 6k to 6.3k deaths) NYC as of this writing has had 4700 covid deaths, but they've been claiming the morgues are being overrun since they had less than 1,000 deaths. It seems a bit fishy.

I just checked and there are only about 200 funeral homes in NYC. This would mean every home has an average of 1 body per day before the outbreak.

I'd call funeral homes to verify how many bodies are rolling in, but if this is a big worldwide conspiracy, I don't want to get put on a list and get "coronavirus'd" and then make the news with headlines that say "Conspiracy theorist who thinks coronavirus is a hoax, dies from coronavirus", just like they did with that lady in texas.

We're not even at half that for the entire country right now.

I think people should be free to go out if they want, but don't for a second think these celebs are talking to us. They're talking to democrats.
