Time to start scanning the mail-in ballot signature fields and doing an automated comparison of them to what is on record.
They can also start doing a signature comparison algorithm to check and see if the writing style is the same for large masses of ballots. If so, then even more fraud games are happening.

NY Pede here. I prefer the NY system for voting (too bad downstate/NYC fucks the rest of us), paper ballot trail is left. If the machine counts come up with screwed up numbers they can verify by counting the ballots or even do hand counting.
Total electronic voting is totally open to too much fuckery and there is no paper record to verify against.
