It’s been 15 days since I travelled thru LAX and I haven’t experienced any symptoms. My only complaint is some slight sinus pain, but that’s typical when it’s rainy/dry/rainy/dry weather.
I did wear a mask and I sanitized my hands after touching everything. I’d say that 99% of people there did not wear a mask and looked healthy. No one caught my eye as if they appeared sick or unhealthy (coughing, sweating, sneezing, etc.).
I hope we cut ties with China over this. Send them back to the stone age and regain superiority. I’m never traveling to China ever again. Hong Kong was cool, but I’ll be hard pressed to ever fly there ever again in my lifetime. I’ll avoid laying over there as much as possible.
It’s no longer the flu we are worried about, it’s the dumb people that pose the biggest threat to society. That’s what we have to prepare for, which means stock up on water and rice. Which is darn near impossible due to the 1 hour long lines to get INTO the grocery stores and very limited stock.

Pictures of empty shelves, complaints about long lines and hoarding, panic about the 59 people infected (in a city of 8 million).
