Might sound funny, but get a Boy Scout Handbook. Older versions are a safer bet, as they contain zero wokeness. Mine is from around 2000.
There are lots of games and unnecessary kids stuff, but if you start at the beginning and work your way to the end, you'll be far better off than many others. Supplement it with merit badge books like wilderness Survival, Emergency preparedness, camping, pioneering, citizenship in your country, etc. Lots of valuable info. Most of it can be found online also, but physical books are better and easily found at used bookstores when you again have access to them.
This move is more about the recovery after everyone gets back to work
Businesses used to be able to write off meal/entertainment expenses on their taxes. Think of a salesman treating a potential buyer to a dinner, or a boss buying dinner for everyone in the office after a record-setting quarter. Buying baseball tickets for the top seller on the team.
These used to be tax-deductable, and POTUS wants that to be the case again.
Businesses will be incentivized to patronize restaurants and restaurants will benefit from the increased business.
Imagine you're a businessman meeting with a client to discuss some deal over lunch, and you want to pay for the meal in hopes of it influencing the outcome of the deal.
Years ago, you would have been able to write off the meal cost as a business expense, but they did away with that deduction some years ago.
Alternatively, you want to treat your employees to a meal for whatever reason. This would have been a write-off for a business back in the day.
President Trump wants businesses to be able to have these write-offs again.
Coveralls have long sleeves. These are what we call "speed suits".
Grandpa has a saying: "Figures never lie, but liars always figure".
"Classical Education" is very important and something the public schools have abandoned long ago. I'm mid 30s and have only begun to piece together my own understanding of what it means or would have entailed for my self. Kinda wish I had kids to learn along with, honestly.
No website. Not trying to promote myself as much as trying to promote the industryas a whole. Not trying to dox myself anyway.
For sure, it's definitely not for everybody. We make more than just pipes though! I have a friend who is the #1 custom shotglass maker in the world, for example. Most of us also make a lot of glass jewelry. I make a lot of necklace pendants and beads also. Custom glass water bottles are starting to be a bigger thing too. Really, anything that is made of glass, can be custom made by hand.
It's true though. All those chinese pipes for sale in dispensaries and gas stations are mde by barefoot children sitting crosslegged on factory floors partly owned by the CCP.
Meanwhile, American pipes are made by self-employed American artists, supporting themselves with a hard-learned trade, making the best product of it's type anywhere in the universe.
Distributed manufacturing. Definitely an valuable idea. Also, the cost of setting up the individul factories sounds like it would be cheap once the product designs are available
This is necessary but with the regulations and liability involved, it seems like it may be out of reach for the small-time individual in his garage shop. Unless I'm missing something.
Thank you for the insight. This is a serious problem.
I know many consider it to be degenerate, but if you're a 420 pede, then you should do your best to buy American glass pipes. We really do have the best glass artists, folks. Believe me.
It was called Sears.
I believe the phrase is "seeing the forest through the trees". The implication beeing that the person's focus is so occupied by the nearest row of trees, that they can't see that an entire forest lies in front of them.
