I've got a black neighbor who's legally blind. I will drive him to the drug store or store maybe once a week.
The hispanics out here run these little roadside taco stands. On weekend nights there are like 30 cars parked along the street or in dirt fields, and there is an ez up and propane lantern for lighting. These are not legal food stands, in fact there are signs that say no roadside sellers allowed-but the cops never touch them.
Anyway every time we drive past one of these places he says if he started one of those stands up, or I did-the cops would be all over us-and he's right.
