I'm a small time real estate investor that can only afford run down properties in the hood and there's something more insidious going on. When half a street is section 8 and owned by the local housing authority, the private owners try to sell, fail, and then the housing authority in cahoots with the inspector start tag teaming the private owner, and forcing them to sell for pennies on the dollar. The housing authority will also setup non profit corps to buy homes. Ultimately this becomes a profitable enterprise by sucking up federal section 8 money while skirting around their own inspection and eviction laws. These government staffers in "affordable housing" are absolutely killing it.
I've hosted close to 50 guests in my spare bedrooms all year long, including single night stays. I personally clean the common areas and do the laundry. I'm fine.
They're asian owned because there's money to be made, but it's a hard 10 hour day, and the blacks don't tip. If you have a "we wuz kangz" entitled mentality you will quit your first day, never mind actually getting good at the craft.
If running these businesses in the hood were easy then they'd be doing it themselves. Without asians all the liquor, nail, and wig shops would be closed, and all that would be left standing are the churches.
He really thinks we're as stupid as democrats.
