this is what i always thought. living in a warm or tropical climate means food is readily available year-round. hungry? just wander over and pick a piece of fruit. Those in areas with more seasonal variation, like northern europe, had to learn to plan ahead and store/preserve food in order to survive the long winters. delayed gratification and long-term planning = success in modern times, too!

fellow ladypede here (no babies yet, but would love to have 10+ kids and be a crazy Christian homeschooler), but i just roll my eyes at those who claim SAHMs have it rough 🤣 what do you do with all your free time while the children are sleeping and/or playing quietly amongst themselves? i would love to spend my days lounging around the house, cooking/baking, running errands, working out, decorating the house, crafting, homeschooling, and nursing babies. thanks for the tips! there is a tiny OPC church near my house, and i went a few times, but didn’t really feel like it was the right church home. we do have a unicorn PCUSA that basically looks/acts like a PCA and has leadership that oppose the garbage that comes down from General Assembly, but that could change at any minute... sigh 😔

I believe it! I’ve done several street corner MAGA rallies, holding Trump signs and flags. We have gotten enthusiastic waves and thumbs-up from every single work truck (landscapers, roofers, carpet installation guys, etc.) that has driven past, and most of these work crews are Hispanic guys.
