I don't know why Biden is so afraid of an open assassination - he's so old and feeble a death by natural causes will be believed by everyone. If anyone should be afraid of getting shot it should be Kamala - then whoever replaces her only has to wait a couple months til Biden dies "of natural causes"

Maybe the reason it seems so ridiculous that there's thousands of troops in DC right now to protect the inauguration is because that's not why they're there.

What if they're there to protect DC from the angry mobs after they start banning guns, packing court, making new states and who knows what else they have planned??

Maybe they're bringing in all these troops because it's the only way they can get anyone to show up?

However, what country you are a citizen of is largely a matter of paperwork. Foreigners can live and work in the United States for the bulk of their lives - legally as long as they have the proper paperwork.

The US also allows dual citizenship. Many of our own representatives hold dual citizenship with the US and other countries (appalling, I know)

One of the reasons big tech has been able to maintain a strangle hold on our country is that our laws are too outdated to deal with them and our government is too slow to learn.

What if there was a new country that American Citizens could become citizens of? A paper country? Hold dual citizenship in the US while also a citizen of the new paper country.

This country could elect leaders, print passports, issue currency, have embassies, be non-extraditing, lobby for aid.

I believe this is largely what the function of the Catholic church was during medieval europe.

why would this fail?

for those that are still paying attention:

Trump is still the President. Biden has not been officially elected anything yet. The same news media that told us Trump would lose in 2016 and then cried "russia, russia, russia" is the one that is now telling us Biden won. Admittedly, it looks bleak for Trump right now.
But it isn't over yet. Trump's legal team claims to have substantial evidence of voter fraud. If you bother to look, you'll see there is a lot to be suspicious about. A LOT. Most troubling are the allegations of vote count tampering via the Dominion voter machines. Anyone who believes our government hasn't meddled in the elections of other countries is seriously deluding themselves. The descriptions I've heard of these Dominion voting machines can change votes so easily makes them seem designed specifically for this purpose.
Given the high likelihood that it happened, it is also highly likely that the CIA is involved or at the very least aware.
Which makes it quite interesting that CIA Director Gina Haspel has been "iced out" of recent meetings with the president.
Gina Haspel replaced Mike Pompeo as CIA Director when he went on to become Trump's Secretary of State.
It's well within reason to suspect that Mike Pompeo knows everything the Gina Haspel knows about election hacking.
Mike Pompeo is on record saying there will be a "very smooth transition to a second Trump term." Simultaneously, Trump has fired Defense Secretary Mark Esper and he has been replaced by Christopher Miller. It is conspicuous that Esper advised Trump against using the insurrection act to quell this summer's riots, so his firing signals and anticipation of more riots in the future.
But even more interesting is that Christopher Miller has announced that U.S. Special Operations Command will report directly to him.
This is gives a nearly direct line of command from Trump to the CIA, sidestepping Gina Haspel.
We'll see soon enough how this all plays out, but I think Rudy is trying to offer an olive branch with the paper ballot fraud allegations. If the branch is accepted, a few people will go to jail and that will be the end of it. But in the event that it is not accepted, I would be prepared for scorched earth.
This is all speculation of course, but we'll find out soon enough how this all plays out. What a show to behold!

I don't know if it will work, but I shared an idea for the statue garden I've been kicking around for a long time. I will share it here also, and if you like it, I suggest you also contact the whitehose - or your congressmen or senators - or all of them!

The idea is that a statue should be created honoring the 2nd amendment, or perhaps the founders of the NRA, or even honoring responsible gun owning citizens.

The fun part is that the statue would be made out of brass from shell casings submitted by gun owning americans.

The NRA has 5.5 million members and I believe 720 casings weighs 1 lb, so if each member just sent 1 shell casing from 1 22LR round, there would be 7,638 lbs of brass to make a statue with.

I know I would be honored to know that brass from a round fired from my gun was incorporated into a national monument. It surely be a statue "of the people"
