.25-20 is still readily available through manufacturers such as Buffalo Arms out of Ponderay, ID. The real question is: was this rifle made with nitro proofed steel or not. If not, it should only be shooting black powder cartridges. If so, then smokeless is fine in which case both Remington and Winchester still make current production loads for it.
