When the voir dire started, I started taking notes, and before my number was called, the prosecutor just pointed at me and said "you, you can go home." No questions. Just taking notes made me suspect. He wanted someone that would do as their told, not think critically.

What they should have told us is... Reduce plastic consumption, because that shit's not recyclable. Re-use glass, just clean/sterilize it, think old Coke bottles. And recycle glass and metal, the only two things worth recycling. Domestic plastic recycling is basically just "shred it into tiny pieces and use it as stuffing".

Spez: Cardboard & paper is recyclable too, but not economical until you've got truckloads of clean bales, and your average Joe just tosses oily pizza boxes and other contaminants into the stream, which can wreck an entire batch, and there aren't enough uses of post-consumer fibers to justify it in most communities.
