I work in IT... degrees usually signal to me that they are stupider.

Totally agree. When all of this started going this way some friends and I in my local area started organizing a group (3 of us so far) to have a trusted group we could trust if things get really bad, but also to start working in our local town to start packing the school boards, community positions, town council, and eventually the mayor. This is in hopes to have a few people rise to the top to start pushing for higher positions and offices in our state of Oregon. I see hope, and see so many people starting to wake up and be a solution instead of just a complaint.

This is something I have been saying for a few years now that the church has done a disservice for decades now. We need to focus outwards and be an ACTUAL influence for good in our community and neighborhoods. Not just to those that want to believe with us, but to push good values and good policies for EVERYONE of any faith of following as long as they aren't hurting those around them.

If we all do this across the nation it will be a flood that they can't get rid of. Please please please join as one voice and movement.

That’s why they have to make it a big deal, because if it’s true it’s like the biggest deal we have right now.

This is true gaslighting and narcissism in effect. They question your intelligence and memory in an effort to make you feel crazy and stupid if you don’t see things their way. It’s truly a battle of not only information, but our very reality.

How on earth is it the right move to step down and not stand taller?

I’m my state (OR) I would have no issue not wearing a mask if it were just confrontation, but here they have actually fined and tried to shut down some of our small businesses because they had REPORTS of patrons not having masks on.

So as much as I want to stand up to the mandate I don’t want to hurt a business that is probably already hurting.

If that isn’t working, then pardon Julian Assange and Edward Snowden.

Yeah I sorta think that if they hear the big Texas (and other states now I guess) case that this one will get a similar ruling. The other just makes more sense because it could offer a solution unilaterally to all states at one time.

She isn't from Oregon. Bend has sadly been taken over by these knobs from California.
