It for sure looks suspect in the states that are contested. I just don't think the numbers are what are as large as stated above. Maybe if the data was cleaned to remove the time stamped lines that went down in total vote count? That way the total vote count always went up.
I think you are finding what we did, and that is that the total vote counts go down at certain times, and then come back up randomly.
Looking through this and running the data it looks very "dirty" in the sense that it the total count goes up and down along with the votes and strange intervals. It seems to have been polling super often as well. Did you account for that in running your analysis?
It just looks like it was coming in with random lower numbers for everyone at times, and then would self correct later. Maybe I'm missing something.
But they did with the caviot that they would do a canvas of the state.
