Even if this is a "perfect" gene therapy, the Government is training the population to accept as normal that they should be injected when the Government says so. It gives way too much power to a small cadre of politicians and biomedical companies.
This is a great first step. The only thing I would have changed is that Federal and county dollars should follow the child too. West Virginia spends $11,554 Per pupil per year. This only reallocates $4600. I understand some of the money probably needs to remain with the local districts to help fund special ed, I doubt it is $6954. Typically what I've seen in charter schools is this number should be more like $500.
Thank you Thank you John Caldera. I hate it when politicians write laws they know will be struck down in the courts. I think the court costs need to come out of their salaries. Or maybe put a lean on their crazy expensive houses.
