"Khalil". Sadly predictable. Another Democrat voter with a firearms license, I'm sure.

Yes there is:

Settings --> Your Facebook Information --> Deactivation and Deletion --> Delete Account --> Delete Account --> Delete Account!

You are then logged out and it takes 30 days for the deletion to take effect.

Remember, they are desperate to keep you, hence the multiple confirmations and the 30-day buyer's remorse period.

It's my account, "9½ years-old", not "my 9½ year-old's" :)

True, but the point is, you are not using it. You're not giving them any more clues about where you are, who you are, what you believe in. No more fresh information to sell. No more ads they can show you. No more "fact checking" they can perform. Their user base shrinks a fraction, and therefore their importance and income shrinks a fraction. Their competitors grow.

Look at Twitter: 17% decline in users (at last count) since Trump was booted; Twitter lost $1.4 Billion in fiscal year 2020. It all has an effect...

I withdrew my permission to let them ass-rape my privacy and free speech. I'm not censored; I am here, you're reading it, I'm on Telegram, I'm on email.

Very well done, you have more courage that most! I'm an expat living in the Philippines, so "giving up" a lot of these things was easy.

Getting rid of Google and Apple means getting rid of your smartphone. Very tough decision, and hopefully there will be an alternative soon.

Same for MasterCard, VISA, PayPal.

Very useful, thank you.

It is sad to see so many young people today putting complete trust in Facebook to safekeep what is effectively their family photo album -- only to lose it because of a forgotten password or a banning.

Facebook also reduces the quality of uploaded material.

Keep your own copies of important photos, don't depend on anyone else.

I agree... I see it now. HOWEVER, looking at other photos of doors in the Oval Office, it seems to be in the wrong place.

Mode: I tried to delete this post, but I can't.

Doors have frames. And handles.

Notice how the molding on the two walls doesn't match either. There is no way that Oval Office workmanship would be that piss poor.

Doors have frames and handles. Even sliding doors. And I don't believe there are any sliding doors in the real Oval Office!

It means things are not as what we are being led to believe... this could be a good thing or a bad thing. The fact that these bastards are so confident in what they are doing would tend to indicate it's a bad thing.

"[T]hose retailers that outright BAN Trump's payment system are people you wouldn't want to do business with anyway!"

Yess!

Perfect name for the VISA/MasterCard competitor would be TrumpCard!
