I would argue that the opposite of urbanization is true, people are moving to lower population density areas because they're tired of the bullshit in the cities.
The last I heard, something like 80% of homes purchased here in western South Dakota were by people from outside the state, and it isn't Nebraska or Worst Dakota moving here.

Literally every single used WRX that we took in on trade 100% of the lesbian population in the area would show up wanting to test drive them. None of them could actually afford a WRX or qualify for a loan of any kind, but they wanted to test drive them.

The number of people in the US alone that didn't sit in traffic with their car idling should have been enough to change things. It did not. That fact by itself is enough to show this while thing has been a scam.
