I was watching a livestream of the march and saw the capitol storm the moment it happened. Things were escalating quickly. As soon as I saw her roll by on the gurney, I immediately texted someone and said a woman was shot dead. I’ve seen GSW victims numerous times. What we all saw was the very last few seconds of her alive if she wasn’t already dead — she was certainly dying. Would have needed an operation immediately on the scene to even stand a chance of living. It’s really fucking creepy that people are trying to say she’s alive when we all saw her dead. Her family confirmed her death. Incredibly disrespectful to this amazing patriot and veterans life to say she didn’t really die. I’m still angry about this. I was a teenager and young adult during Obama’s terms — meaning I was uninformed. When I found out one of my best friends who left home at a young age was getting penalized for not being able to afford health insurance, I was furious. I still had the luxury of being covered under my parents’ policies. That should’ve been my first red flag about Obama and the government, but it would still be years before I fully appreciated Trump. This is true. I commented a few weeks ago that people will not rise up until survival mode 100% kicks in and they are left with no choice to fight. Americans of all income levels are so much more comfortable compared to other countries that they don’t even know the tryanny they’re being slapped in the face with.
I agree with you so much that it hurts. Our ancestors honestly spoiled us and trusted us with the responsibility of the upkeep of our republic. They would be horrified to see how the last hundred years have gone. I always think to myself that I wish I was born a decade or two earlier and that perhaps I would’ve been able to prevent what has happened in my lifetime. It’s a silly thought, I know. Very much agree with you as well. Plain Christianity and our faith and honor to God costs us nothing and asks nothing of us compared to other religious practices. Meaning we can still be shit people and still seek redemption if we want it. We don’t have to have special diets. We don’t have very specific special practices. We don’t automatically think other religions are our enemies, they are our lost brothers and sisters. That, to me, is a very big factor in why I choose God and the Christian faith over every other religion and what makes it true. Some people like to cry that organized religion is intended to control the people. I just don’t see how anyone can rise to that conclusion with the christian faith. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. This is the most based thing I’ve seen all year and I watched every single one of Trump’s rallies.
I think it’s remarkable that the United States has made it over 2 centuries without a whole takeover of the free world. I do believe it’s true that all things, even good things, come to an end at some point. I don’t know if it’s the end of times but it certainly feels like the end of America. I still have faith in Trump and I know he won. How he is going to be inaugurated is not something I have the answer to. I do have faith in him and his team though.
My take on this has always been pretty simple, so you may take it for what you will. I don’t believe God delves much into our earthly issues. Maybe that’s the whole point of still keeping the faith when good people die and bad people get rewarded. If God snapped his fingers to make all the wrongs right again then I’m not sure if anyone would have much motivation to do good and be good people. I do believe in one final act of justice in the end, but in the meantime our freewill to do as we please will either help us or hurt us on both a personal and collective level. Someone will always win and someone will always lose as a result of someone else’s actions or your own actions. I think that’s the big picture and purpose of the freewill that I believe was given to us by God. You can either act or don’t act and there will always be cause and effect. That’s how I’ve always interpreted it. I do agree with you though. It feels like so much is at stake and I do wonder Where is God? Why won’t He stop this injustice and evil? I don’t know what’s to come and I won’t claim to. But I do have faith that the truth will win one way or the other.

I do believe The Bible is God’s word even if it has been written and tampered with by men. I respectfully disagree. Before I saw your comment here, I had replied with this to someone above you is that this not a red pill and is actually a black pill. She has repeatedly said that she’s so sick of Trump in the news and over shit that doesn’t even matter (eating steak with ketchup, for example.) She genuinely hates Trump and his policies, but she’s also fuming over the amount of time the “news” spends on Trump reports because she believes that their time could be better spent on stories that matter more. I’m expecting an even more outrageous meltdown than 2016 from her come January 20th.
