I keep seeing posts about Pres. Trump declaring martial law or invoking the Insurrection Act. HOW???

Doesn’t he need a reason? Like some sort of civil unrest or disturbances or something?

Merriam definition of martial law:

“the law administered by military forces that is invoked by a government in an emergency when the civilian law enforcement agencies are unable to maintain public order and safety”

I’m thinking the military can apply curfews and domestic law enforcement. But how does that change anything? Cause it doesn’t make sense how he can do that or how that even changes anything—unless we change it ourselves.

Feels like another case of hopium—like us waiting for an EBS still. Now we’re all stocking up on food and supplies for the next 2 weeks -.-

GEOTUS made us think Mike Pence was going to defend him. We showed up. Turns out Pence is a pussy. It’s almost like GEOTUS wanted to show the swamp how deep we stand. He urged us to go to the capital... for what? To scare Pence and the RINOs? I suppose we did that with our presence. Then he tells us to go home... and now this. He’s conceding. Point is, I feel like we were used just to show we exist and that we are a force to be reckoned with. And now that we did what we were suppose to... its just... goodbye?
