The people stocking shelves were dudes. A lot of them black, but hardly any women at all. All the women in the store were cashiers for the most part.
I'm sure the side that won would love for you to think that. The south wanted to become their own country because they were being taxed but were not being fairly represented. Lincoln knew he would be totally fucked if he lost the production in the south, so he had to stop it.
