I have been considering this since the election. Should the ultimate determination of the election be placed up to the Supreme Court, the largest issue is the appearance of partisanship. So I have often tried to reason a method by which the Supreme Court could rule in our favor but still seem unbiased to the bulk of the population. Dropping a high profile case like this one and allowing the media to respond as they obviously will, by flooding the air with "Supreme Court rejects trump and GOP" to all the libs, allows them to later rule in our favor on a different case and seem much more legitimate.

Because honestly, consider the situation in which they rule in our favor right off. The other half of the country would scream bloody murder, Trump stole election blah blah. It needs to be made more palatable (this was the reason the media claims Biden is elect, so that the idea of "overturning" the election seems like a steal.)

So there is a possibility that this works in our favor.

That being said, it is also very possible that we are relying on the last box now. And I'm ready.
