When is the last time they made a huge ground breaking decision that rocked the boat? This would be unprecedented. I can’t think of it. On top of it all they have nothing to fear from trump supporters if they rule against. We aren’t violent. We won’t do shit. We are law abiding. Meanwhile if they rule for trump the liberals will absolutely go crazy and act rabid. That will be in the back of the courts mind.
